Emmit's Magic Animal Rescue

Our organization does not have a shelter facility. Pets in our rescue are housed in foster homes, with families that care for and include each pet in their daily lives. Email emmitsmagicanimalrescue@gmail.com for an adoption application. Once received and approved, we can connect you with the pet's foster family and arrange for a meet-n-greet. http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/WA634.html

Lucky Paws Rescue

Terry has always loved animals and that love has turned into a passion for saving lives. She has an amazing heart and a gift for bringing people and animals together to do the very best for each. There are so many animals in need, however, the bully breeds have gained a special place in her heart because they are generally misunderstood, mislabeled, mishandled and are truly "the underdog". Terry has worked in rescue for over ten years and through her collaboration with other rescues and shelters, she now has many who call upon her for help. On a daily basis, she is contacted to help chained dogs, dogs in high kill shelters and dogs in shelters with medical or behavioral issues. Contact Terry through her email: luckydog115@gmail.com or visit Lucky Paws Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/Lucky-Paws-Rescue-1544781502475771/

Responsible Breeders

If you want a purebred dog, look for a responsible breeder. Search google for the breed of your choice 'Club of America'. There you will learn about the pros and cons of the breed you fancy, local specialty clubs, health issues you should know about and possibly even find a list of breeders. Once you find a breeder, look on OFA and search for their dogs' health testing. If you can't find the verification, ask for help. If they don't do breed appropriate health testing find another breeder. You are making a purchase for a companion that will be with you for the next 15 years or so; demand value for your money and get the healthiest start possible.
